A Trek To Crowned Pinnacle
- About Irshalgad Fort Trek
Irshalgad fort trek is located in between Matheran and Panvel in Maharashtra. It is a sister fort to Prabalgad. The altitude of the trek is 518 mtrs till the rock cut called Nedhe. Irshalgad is a pinnacle which has Nedhe. Nedhe is the Marathi ( Local Language ) which means Natural Hole in the Mountain. Irshalgad offers amazing view of Morbe Dam, Karnala Fort, Sondai Fort and Prabalgad Fort. The area of the fort is not as large as Prabalgad but there are several water cisterns cut from the rock.
The untouched and unexplored beauty of Irshalgad Fort has been found and visited by very few history lovers and is a prominent way for adventure in case of trekkers, and nature photographers as well.
Unleash the fun of a moderate 2-3-hour trek for the 3.5 km distance and begin from the base village to the top of the fort which implies to a zigzag path. Wander with the beautiful flora and fauna culture and rocky cuts of the trails and reach the top point to witness the splendid views over the Morbe reservoir

- 04:15 AM : Leave for Irshalgad trek.
- 07:00 AM : Karjat phata (Chowk) – Meeting point for direct people.
- 08:00 AM : Reach base village and have breakfast.
- 08:30 AM : Start ascending.
- 11:30 AM : Reach the top and explore.
- 01:00 PM : Start descending.
- 03:00 PM : Reach base village and have a lunch.
- 04:00 PM : Start return journey.
- 08:00 PM : Approx. arrival at Mumbai.

- 75% refund if notified via phone conversation 8 or more days prior to the event date.
- 50 % refund if notified via phone conversation 4 to 7 days prior to the event date.
- No refund if the cancellation requested is less than 3 days prior to the event date
- Event Tickets cannot be transferred to another date against cancellation.

- The Tour is weather based and depends on the weather conditions. There may be last – Minute cancellations if weather gets worst
- Terms & Conditions :
- We all are going for an adventurous and exciting trekking expedition; please Do Not misinterpret it as a PICNIC or LEISURE TOUR.
- The leader’s decision will be final, and all the members should abide by it.
- We do not destroy or dirty the archaeological, historical monuments, natural habitat on the trek.
- Swimming is not allowed in the lake or water tank on the forts. Locals use that water for drinking.
- Putting your feet in water tanks or on the canon is not allowed on our treks.
- Any addiction is strictly prohibited, e.g. drinking, smoking, chewing tobacco anyone caught doing it will have to exit the trek without a refund and travel back on own expense.
- Please do not carry or wear any valuables, ornaments, jewellery, etc. If carried, then we Do Not take any liability for the same.
- Listening to music on earphones or bluetooth speaker is not allowed while trekking.
- If you are late for the bus pickup and are not reachable on the phone during your bus pickup, the trek leader will leave without you, and we will provide no refund.
